Role OverviewThe Dispatcher position is responsible for communicating with Waste Pro drivers to respond to incoming service orders, schedule service, resolve route and service issues, and complete daily routing dump and crew data entry. The Dispatcher will distribute information to driver teams as needed.
What You Will Do
The Dispatcher will maintain contact between drivers and home base, dispatch drivers to calls as they are received, and plan, distribute, and follow up on daily route assignments. The Dispatcher will also troubleshoot and resolve potential delivery and pick-up problems, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D
- Minimum of 6 months of related work experience
- Experience within the Waste industry, transportation, or logistics (preferred)
- Previous customer service experience in a call center environment (preferred)
- Good telephone and 2-way radio skills
- Ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Computer proficiency in MS Office and typing skills
