Distribution Center Senior Manager

The Distribution Center Senior Manager is responsible for day-to-day operational excellence of the site, ensuring consistent application of standard operating procedures & policies and Key Performance Indicators are achieved. This role will provide short-term site leadership to vacant or underperforming distribution centers as needed before being placed long-term at a facility. Ability to relocate is required.

What You Will Do

Oversee all elements of distribution center operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and route management. Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all picking, receiving, put away, load/ship of all orders, product returns. Maintain the facility, equipment, and vehicles and will resolve any issues which may interfere with the safe, efficient, and fiscally responsible operation of the Distribution Center.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Operations, Business or other related disciplines
• Demonstrated management experience including leadership and motivational ability, time management and organizational skills, training, coaching and counseling
• Must be open to immediate relocation
• Must be willing to travel up to 75% until placed in a facility full-time
• Proficient in computer programs including Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Ability to work well under pressure (prioritize, manage time, maintain composure.)
• Knowledge of Lean methodology and proven success driving change in a dynamic environment
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience
• Safety 1st Mentality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds while bending and twisting
• Must maintain a current driver’s license
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights holidays and weekends, as needed.
• 24/7 access to cell phone, email and security system in case of an emergency
• ERP system and Routing Software experience is a plus.
• High level of professional integrity
• Bilingual in Spanish /English is a plus
