Role OverviewThe Distribution Engineer II will work on cost-effective conceptual and engineering solutions to upgrade, expand, maintain, and automate overhead and underground power distribution systems. They will ensure compliance with client procedures, design standards, state and federal regulatory requirements, and safety code requirements. The role will involve working closely with engineers performing substation, distribution, transmission, renewable energy, power storage, and communication designs.
What You Will Do
The Distribution Engineer II will perform all Distribution Engineer I roles/responsibilities, design and develop advanced engineering solutions, analyze projects, and prepare comprehensive design criteria. They will also provide guidance and mentorship to Engineer I and interns, identify and resolve engineering challenges, and maintain comprehensive records of project developments and changes.
