Distribution Inside Sales Representative

Woodgrain is seeking an experienced candidate to join our sales team. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting the sales efforts of the branch to ensure the successful execution of sales plans. The role involves selling, quoting, and promoting building materials, as well as ensuring prompt and accurate communication with customers on their orders and delivery dates.

What You Will Do

The Inside Sales Representative will work with customers to convert inbound inquiries into actual sales, overcome technical and business objections, and emphasize salable features. They will also make outbound sales calls, develop and maintain customer relationships, and estimate date of delivery to customers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3-5 years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficient computer skills; experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint (intermediate or advanced)
• Customer service skills and the ability to develop relationships over the phone
• Results driven and ability to generate innovative and creative solutions to problems
• Ability to develop quick rapport with employees and customers
• General business acumen
• Ability to manage multiple projects
