Role OverviewAs a Distribution Section Manager at HDR, you will be responsible for operations, staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support. You will work with a team of experts to shape the future of electricity generation, transmission, and delivery. You will contribute to reliable, resilient, and sustainable power systems, helping communities thrive and industries expand.
What You Will Do
Your main responsibilities will include taking administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, leading and coordinating services with other sections, and being involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews. You will also be responsible for implementing company policy, selecting, training, and developing technical personnel, and managing and developing multidiscipline teams.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- A license/certification (PMP or similar)
- Experience with industry software
- 4+ years of distribution design experience
- 10+ years of overall experience
- Excellent client management skills
- Marketing and business development skills
- Previous experience managing staff, clients, contracts, and hiring staff
