Role OverviewHDR is an employee-owned engineering consulting firm. In the Power sector, you'll help shape how electricity is generated, transmitted and delivered. As Distribution Section Manager, you'll take responsibility for operations of the production section including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control and marketing support.
What You Will Do
Function as Project Manager and take responsibility for production on projects in addition to management responsibilities. Take administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions, and lead and coordinate services with other sections. Be involved in marketing planning, proposals and interviews. Be directly involved with industrial and public clients in marketing, project production and related issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical) and a Professional Engineering (PE) License. You need 4+ years of distribution design experience and 10+ years of overall experience including prior project management and staff management experience. Excellent client management, marketing, and business development skills are required, along with contacts/relationships with power delivery clients.
