Distribution Shift Lead

Requirements

• Shipping/receiving and the inventory group.
• Support the day-to-day operation of material handlers.
• Determine daily work schedules and allocate personal; manage staffing.
• Train personnel on warehouse equipment.
• Manage warehouse spacing and inventory FIFO.
• Assist the Warehouse Coordinator and/or Warehouse Manager to Evaluate work performance of materials handlers, yearly, and on as needed basis.
• May coordinate and enter all necessary transactions in JD Edwards system and schedule shipping from the plant as back up to the shipping/receiving coordinator position as needed.
• Operates forklift, camp trucks, box clamps, slip sheeter and walkie-riders.
• Help pick orders, unload/ load trailers as needed.
