Role OverviewThe Warehouse/Order Picking/Distribution Technician will work at the Salinas Distribution Center, located in Salinas CA, and report to an Order Selection Team Manager. The role involves picking/packing/shipping all customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, operating material handling equipment, and performing general warehouse duties.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include operating a transporter, stand-up, reach or sit-down fork truck, completing all paperwork and system transactions, identifying and communicating issues to shift Crew Leader, Warehouse or Order Selection Team Manager, and performing general duties such as sanitation and battery changing.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate should be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a continual basis and 25-50 pounds on a frequent basis, and have the ability to work in an environment with exposure to spice dust and odors, noise and vibration, and temperature extremes.
Requirements
- Ability to obtain a forklift license via McCormick
