Role Overview

Under administrative direction, the District Finance Coordinator performs district-based duties associated with coordinating and prioritizing departmental duties assigned to the Finance, Accounting or Accounts Payable departments. This includes reconciling master accounts, processing off-cycle vendor payments, and general funds expenditure reclassification requests. The role involves interpreting and implementing proper procedures, analyzing and monitoring project expenditures, and performing related work as directed.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include responding to internal and external customers, providing technical assistance and support, serving as the point of contact for general funds expenditure reclassification requests, and creating vendor numbers for related reimbursements. The role also involves analyzing, reviewing, and advising locations on supporting back-up documentation, evaluating accuracy of data, and approving or rejecting requests in the online portal system.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution with course work emphasis in accounting/finance or related area
