Role OverviewThe OPS-District Legislative Aide will support the office's community engagement efforts by assisting with outreach events, social media communications, and constituent services. This role requires a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature. The OPS-District Legislative Aide will serve as a liaison for constituents, respond to inquiries, and assist in planning and coordinating community outreach events.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include serving as a liaison for constituents, responding to inquiries, planning and coordinating community outreach events, representing the office at community events, and maintaining relationships with community partners. The OPS-District Legislative Aide will also assist in creating and scheduling social media content, drafting captions and graphics concepts, and capturing photos and videos during events.
