Role OverviewCVS Health is transforming health care, and within our Retail locations, District Support Pharmacists (DSPs) play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence. You will work within the district to cover pharmacist scheduling gaps, under the direction of the Pharmacy Manager and Rx District Leader, to support pharmacy teams. While working in stores throughout the district, you are accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of the pharmacy and pharmacy team.
What You Will Do
Travel the district to fill pharmacist shifts as scheduled, overseeing the pharmacy and serving as the Pharmacy Manager's proxy during bench shifts. Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following pharmacy workflow procedures, contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and proactively offer and deliver immunizations. Support effective management of pharmacy inventory, remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, and maintain relevant clinical and technical skills.
