Wheeler's Diversion First program aims to divert youth in Connecticut away from the juvenile justice system, using a restorative justice approach to focus on repairing harm and addressing underlying needs.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, counseling or related field
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work in an office and community settings
  • Ability to administer standardized screening tools and collect data
  • Ability to provide safety planning and crisis intervention
