Job Description
The Division Chief of Laboratory Services oversees the operation of 5 wastewater labs in the New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), ensuring safe and efficient laboratory operations, quality control, and regulatory compliance. The position entails planning, coordinating, and directing laboratory Supervisors, implementing quality systems, and supporting budget and procurement efforts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in an appropriate scientific field
  • Four years of experience in a laboratory concerned with sanitary control and/or protection of a municipal water supply system
  • Two years of experience in a responsible supervisory or administrative capacity
