Role OverviewThe Divisional Controller will lead accounting operations for designated business units, provide critical financial insight to senior leadership, and ensure the timely delivery of accurate financial reporting. This highly visible leadership role is responsible for overseeing accounting managers and staff, managing the month-end close process, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and controls, and partnering with operational leaders to support sound business decisions.
What You Will Do
The Divisional Controller will drive timely, accurate financial reporting, oversee financial reporting, provide business analysis, manage month-end close, analyze financial performance, deliver ad-hoc insights, strengthen financial controls, enforce policies and procedures, manage documentation, support external audits, drive process improvements, partner across finance and operations, lead accounting teams, coach and develop employees, set clear expectations, foster collaboration, and promote accountability.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of coursework and directly related experience
- CPA designation or equivalent accounting experience preferred
- 8+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Experience working with accounting software platforms and ERP systems
- Strong understanding of accounting controls, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger reconciliation processes
- Experience preparing complex financial analyses and worksheets
- Ability to support accounting operations across multiple companies or business entities
- Experience developing, implementing, and communicating accounting policies and procedures
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
