Job Description
Join the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services as a Resident Advisor Trainee and make a difference in the lives of youth. Provide supervision and guidance to residents, learn about crisis prevention, and assist with daily tasks. This is an entry-level position that requires no experience, but a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.

Requirements

  • Provide supervision and guidance to youth residing in a facility
  • Escort groups of youth to and from daily activities
  • Observe individual and group behaviors and intervene when necessary
  • Monitor behavior and assist with daily tasks such as attending classes and personal hygiene
