Job Description
The Montana Department of Corrections is seeking a DOC Training Coordinator who will train Montana State Prison staff across basic, in-service, and advanced professional courses while working closely with MSP Management and staff instructors to ensure the DOC Training Plan is implemented.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration or another related field
  • Individuals with prior course instruction experience, Instructor Development certification, and membership in an advanced training team are exempt from the degree requirement
  • Experience in, or with a Field Training Officer (FTO) program is preferred
  • Prior Probation, Corrections, Law Enforcement, or Detention experience is highly sought after
