Dock Clerk

This is a 2nd Shift Position. The Dock Clerk will be responsible for ensuring all facility safety rules and regulations are followed, promoting good housekeeping, and assisting in driving the facility Safety audits, Zone walks, and Quality audit programs. The role involves performing technical job duties, running reports, and liaising with Transportation and Customer Service. The Dock Clerk will also schedule outbound trailers, track and ensure completion of all orders, and update all tracking logs, boards, audits, emails, and checklists daily.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Dock Clerk include releasing/providing daily work to the shipping associates, running reports to maintain all orders current, ensuring compliance of handling special identified customer processing requests, and liaising with Transportation and Customer Service. The role also involves scheduling outbound trailers, tracking and ensuring completion of all orders, and updating all tracking logs, boards, audits, emails, and checklists daily.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• one to two years related warehouse experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and achieve objectives in a fast-paced environment
• High degree of credibility

• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
