Role OverviewThe Dock and Door Road Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing loading dock and doors. This position is also responsible for performing all assigned preventative maintenance on customer equipment and recommending service as needed. Proper processing of paperwork is required at the completion of each job.
What You Will Do
Identifying the general problem based on customer concern and testing to locate the failure, completing the appropriate repairs in the safest and most efficient manner and testing the equipment to ensure it is working properly, driving to and from locations (customer sites, parts pickups, etc.) to address on-site needs the customer.

Requirements
- High school diploma, G.E.D. or tech school graduate preferred
- Must be a certified welder or able to obtain certification within the first 30 days of being hired.
- Successful completion of the welder apprentice level or three years welding experience.
- Ability to read and comprehend regulations and instructions written in the locally applicable language(s).
- Ability to perform duties at elevated heights
- Demonstrated ability to repair equipment per skill level
- Basic Computer/Tablet knowledge (Microsoft and Apple operating systems)
- Valid driver license and clean driving record must be maintained throughout employment
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service skills
