Job Description
The Dock Supervisor will lead and direct dock employees to manage an efficient, clean, and safe LTL operation, enforce company policies, and meet KPIs. Responsibilities include scheduling, equipment assignment, customer communication, and overseeing paperwork. The ideal candidate has a thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry, strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and excellent planning and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED), or any combination of education and experience
  • Prior management, dispatch, and dock experience, preferably in LTL trucking industry
  • Knowledge of local metropolitan area
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Excellent planning and organization skills
  • Good computer skills (AS/400 & MS Office a plus)
  • Strong work ethic and good problem-solving skills
