Role OverviewR+L Carriers has an immediate need for a Dock Supervisor at our Wilson, NC Service Center to manage dock and dispatch operations. The Dock Supervisor will lead in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational, communication, and logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.
What You Will Do
The Dock Supervisor will coordinate dock operation and driver/freight handler scheduling, ensure safety compliance, and ensure quality freight handling procedures are followed. They will also dispatch LTL loads in a timely manner and perform other duties as assigned by the Service Center Manager.
