Job Description
Jackson Lewis P.C. is looking for a full-time Docket Specialist to join their nationwide docketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in general litigation and knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure and NLRB rules and regulations.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a legal environment
  • Three or more years of docketing experience preferred
  • Familiarity with labor and employment law practice; specific experience with California docketing is preferred
  • Proficient in the use of CompuLaw docketing software, or similar rules-based docket management software
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and resourcefulness
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures of state and federal courts and agencies within labor and employment law practices
  • Pro-active in obtaining and interpreting deadline-related information
  • Ability to communicate effectively with attorneys, staff, and co-workers regarding all aspects of docketing, court filings and processes
  • Must have proven project execution skills and a strong client service attitude
  • Ability to work individually to prioritize and execute tasks
  • Proficient in technology
