Doctor's Technician (PEG NC)

The Doctor's Technician will provide outstanding customer service to patients while fostering a strong partnership to ensure an exceptional customer experience. They will work with the supervising PEG physician to provide direction and guidance with regards to patient care within their store. The role will also require this person to communicate effectively with the supervising PEG physician for all direction and guidance with regards to patient care within their store.

What You Will Do

Deliver an outstanding patient experience, collaborating with other team members to accomplish store goals, clinical metrics and initiatives. Greet patients, identify their needs, provide information about available products and services, answer customers' inquiries, gather necessary information, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with patient complaint resolution, and maintain patient records confidential and secure in accordance with HIPAA requirements.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers
• Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people
• Passion for customer satisfaction and maintaining a positive demeanor
• Proactive problem solving skills to address potential patients' concerns or rebuttals
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment
• Schedule flexibility (work hours will be determined based on business needs)
• Enjoy working with technology and being curious about current innovations
• Optical experience is a plus
