Job Description
The Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor position provides independent professional vocational rehabilitation counseling to individuals with disabilities to attain employment. The incumbent will assess medical, psychological, and vocational information, develop and implement Individual Plans for Employment, and provide technical assistance to internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation
  • Direct work experience with individuals with disabilities in a setting such as an independent living center or advocacy activities
  • Special skills in case management, team work, and effective communication
  • Master's or doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in a field of study reasonably related to vocational rehabilitation (optional)
