Job Description
The Léman Manhattan Residential Life Program is seeking a Dorm Parent (Live-in) to oversee tasks related to students' residential experience. The role involves developing relationships with boarding students, providing care and supervision, and ensuring student safety and well-being.

Requirements

  • Acting in loco parentis for all boarding students
  • Providing families with updates about their student's progress and well-being
  • Monitoring student whereabouts and facilitating student checkouts
  • Assisting with academic progress and developing student-centered action plans
  • Collaborating with faculty and school support staff
  • Addressing student conduct issues and safety concerns
  • Planning and organizing activities and events
  • Facilitating monthly group meetings
  • Supporting student health needs
  • Ensuring a safe and efficient work environment
  • Responding to residential life and school emergencies
  • Shadowing and training part-time Residential Assistants

Benefits
