Job Description
The Bureau of Departmental Information Systems (BDIS) Lead Database Administrator maintains all relational databases for the Department, including the Florida Voter Registration System (FVRS) database, and manages the activities of the Department’s database team.

Requirements

  • Four (4) years of experience in database technology support environment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science or management information systems can substitute.
  • At least four (4) demonstrable years of experience as an SQL Server database administrator in a professional environment.
  • Some familiarity with Oracle database administration.
  • Demonstrable experience with database system administration.
  • At least four (4) years as a database administration in a State of Florida agency.
  • At least four (4) years in a supervisory position in a State of Florida agency.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and DevOps.
