Role OverviewThe DOT Driver drives a commercial truck and a variety of trailers to pick up, haul and unload equipment and supplies to and from job sites and customer locations. Complies with current DOT regulations.
What You Will Do
Provides timely delivery and pick-up to and from designated customer locations. Inspect equipment for damage and/or excessive wear and note accordingly. Completes all documentation associated with delivery and pickup in a timely and accurate manner.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must possess at least 12 months of verifiable DOT driving experience within the last three (3) years. Must be insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving the company truck.
Requirements
- 12 months of verifiable DOT driving experience within the last three (3) years
- valid DOT medical examiners certificate with a minimum of 3 months prior to expiration
- insurable for Total Safety vehicle insurance while driving the company truck
- satisfactory driving record meeting all requirements of the FMCSR and company policies
- manufacturer field level training and certification in respiratory and instrumentation
- valid driver's license from state of residence
- valid proof of vehicle insurance
- Commercial driver's license per requirements of facility class A, B, or C with HAZMAT endorsement
