Role OverviewAchieve is looking for a full-time driving staff to support individuals with disabilities. The DOT Driver will operate buses and/or vans to provide transportation to and from the Achieve Services program and other community integration and employment sites.
What You Will Do
Drive participants to and from home and job sites in a safe manner, assist participants on and off the vehicle, and maintain vehicle in good and safe operating condition.

The ideal candidate will have a cooperative work style, ability to work with people with developmental disabilities, and valid DOT certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Requirements
- Valid DOT certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire
- Ability to safely operate a vehicle
- Ability to be on time and work scheduled shift
- Ability to lift or manually assist people with disabilities on and off vehicles
- Ability to work with people with developmental disabilities
- Ability to follow instructions/direction
- Ability to read maps and plan routes
