Job Description
The State of Connecticut, Department of Transportation (CTDOT), is seeking qualified applicants for our Transportation Maintainer 2 (DOT Highway Electrical Technician) position in the Milford Electrical Facility. This role has an advancement opportunity for the target class of Qualified Craft Worker (Electrical) in the District 2 Milford Electrical Facility.

Requirements

  • Possess formal electrical education, with proof of certification, and at least 2 years of experience working in the electrical field
  • Hold a current and valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tank endorsement
  • Be willing to accept assignment to emergency duties, including snow and ice removal, whenever services are needed
