Role OverviewResponsible for all activities associated with running the double-backer, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements to operations.
What You Will Do
Set up bridge guides and glue station, check wet end lineups, put rolls of paper in mill roll stands, make adjustments during runs, and clean starch pans, metering rolls, and glue rolls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have prior work experience in the corrugated industry, 6 months' experience on the dry end of the corrugator, and a high school diploma or GED.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior work experience in the corrugated industry
- 6 months' experience on the dry end of the corrugator
- Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters
- Ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume, and rate
- Ability to apply concepts of high school math
