Role OverviewWe are seeking energetic, passionate people who enjoy the outdoors and want to play a key role for the position of Dredge Operator 2 within the Division of Parks & Watercraft, headquartered at Grand Lake Saint Marys State Park, assigned to Auglaize county.
What You Will Do
Operate heavy equipment to maintain dredge material relocation areas (DMRA's) & lake improvement projects. Remove sediment & aquatic vegetation from waterways. Operate dredge related equipment such as tandem dump truck, pickup truck.

This position offers a starting hourly pay of $22.29/hr with multiple pay increases over your first 3.5 years of service with an end salary of $24.63/hr, and a variety of quality, competitive benefits to eligible full-time and part-time employees.
Requirements
- 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in heavy equipment operation & maintenance
- 6 mos. trg or 6 mos. exp. in equipment safety practices
- valid commercial driver's license
