Role OverviewThe Dredge Operator 2 will operate heavy equipment to maintain dredge material relocation areas (DMRA's) & lake improvement projects. The role involves removing sediment & aquatic vegetation from waterways, operating dredge related equipment such as tandem dump truck, pickup truck, and working in a travel position that will travel weekly due to park needs.

The main day-to-day responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, removing sediment and aquatic vegetation, and working on lake improvement projects.

Requirements
- 12 months of training or experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance
- 6 months of training or experience in equipment safety practices
- valid commercial driver's license
- or 12 months of experience as Dredge Operator 1
- or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment
