Role OverviewThe driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of rental equipment orders while adhering to all safety and compliance standards. When not on the road, the driver will be in the warehouse maintaining rental equipment.
What You Will Do
Drive company vehicles, load equipment orders, pick-up equipment, report customer complaints, ensure vehicle maintenance, perform errands, disassemble and repair equipment, perform routine preventative maintenance, and operate a forklift.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have commercial driving experience, a valid driver's license, and a mechanical background or aptitude. They will also be able to pass a hair follicle drug screening and DOT certification.
Requirements
- Commercial driving experience
- Valid driver's license (Class C or above)
- 21 years of age
- Good driving record
- No DUI, reckless driving, or serious moving violations within the past 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- No more than 2 preventable incidents within the last 3 years
- Ability to pass a hair follicle drug screening
- DOT certification required upon commencement of employment
- Mechanical background or aptitude
- Prior warehouse/manufacturing or related work experience
- Experience working on air hoists, come alongs, manual hoists, and electric hoists
- Prior forklift experience
