Role OverviewThe Driver License Examiner 1 oversees driver and motor vehicle licensing and registration, making services more convenient, efficient, and cost-effective. They conduct examinations of applicants for vehicle operator's licenses, instruct applicants in maneuvers, and administer driving tests. The role involves evaluating and grading applicants' abilities to drive and utilizing BMV computer systems to enter applicant information and administer knowledge tests.

You should also have 1 course or 3 months of experience in human/public relations and a valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License. Additionally, you should be 21 years of age and able to maintain a valid Ohio Class 'D' Driver License and complete agency driving training course required before the end of the probationary period.
