Role OverviewThe Driver will provide transportation services to participants and make deliveries and pickups as needed. The role is under the direction and supervision of the Transportation Coordinator.
What You Will Do
The main responsibilities include safe operation of vehicles, ensuring participant and vehicle safety, providing timely and safe transport of participants, and supporting participant's care plan.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a licensed California driver's license, a good driving record, and experience working with the frail or elderly population. Bilingual skills in English/Spanish or Cantonese/English are preferred.
Requirements
- Licensed California Driver with good driving record
- Ability to operate all vehicles of On Lok
- One-year experience working with the frail or elderly population preferred
- Flexibility and creativity
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions
- Familiarity with traffic routes and driving regulations in San Francisco
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
