Role OverviewThe driver is responsible for loading, transporting, and delivering materials to customer sites. They must adhere to driver safety/compliance regulations, deliver undamaged goods on schedule, and provide professional service to customers.
What You Will Do
The driver will load and secure products, deliver customer orders, verify order details, and maintain logs of delivery duties. They will also act as a customer service liaison, handle customer concerns, and maintain the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and previous delivery experience. They must be able to read and speak English, have basic math and measurement skills, and be able to lift and carry up to 100 pounds frequently.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21+ years old
- Valid driver's license
- Pass MVR report
- Obtain a DOT medical card within five (5) days of a request
- Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years
- Basic math & measurement skills
- Ability to read and speak the English language
