Role OverviewServe as ground crew and visual observer during sensor installs and test flights, prepare aircraft and equipment, and set up ground control station. Progress through pilot training plan toward pilot-in-command on Astria.
What You Will Do
Run checklists, manage comms, keep site safe, prepare and inspect equipment, pull flight logs, and support site surveys and test flights.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be willing and able to travel frequently for multi-day to multi-week field deployments, have mechanical aptitude, and be physically able to carry equipment and work outdoors.
Requirements
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and discipline to follow checklists
- Physically able to carry equipment and work outdoors
