Role OverviewThe DSD Warehouse Lead will oversee the daily operations of the DSD DC, manage the operation of the DC, and perform DC warehouse duties. The Lead will also assist with training new DSD warehouse team members and perform other key responsibilities.
What You Will Do
The Lead will oversee daily operations, assign tasks, train new team members, order inventory, receive and store products, and balance daily inventory. The Lead will also cover open routes, deliver product to customers, and lead month-end inventory counts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of warehouse experience, preferably in a DSD DC in a food-related industry. The candidate should also have experience leading and directing others, and be proficient in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel.
Requirements
- 3+ years of warehouse experience
- Prior experience using an Enterprise Resource System such as D365
- Experience leading and directing others
- Organization and attention to details
- Basic math skills
- Independent decision making
- Valid driver's license
- DOT medical card
- Ability to operate a route sales delivery step van or box truck
- Ability to drive a forklift
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Outlook/Excel
