Role OverviewResponsible for obtaining guest orders, executing responsible service of alcoholic beverages, delivering food, drinks, and merchandise to guests while serving them in an efficient and pleasant manner. Accurately execute guest transactions, entering orders, tabulating bills, and receiving guest payment.
What You Will Do
Promotes positive customer relations, greets customers and creates a friendly atmosphere. Takes orders from customers in a prompt and friendly manner. Prepares and serves cocktails and other beverages accurately and without waste according to the customer’s specifications and ABC requirements.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be knowledgeable for full utilization of the Point of Sale (POS) system. Responsible for cash-handling practices adherent to Casino-wide, Food and Beverage Policies and Procedures. Safeguards casino monies by balancing house bank at the beginning and end of each shift.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years working in the food and beverage and/or hospitality industry
- One (1) year of bartending work
- ABC certificate of safe alcohol server training
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
