Role OverviewMindrift is running a research study on how people use their phones, apps, and digital tools, and how that differs across languages and cultures. We’re looking for native Dutch speakers in New York to join a paid, 3-day in-person study in Midtown Manhattan.
What You Will Do
Spend 1-3 days with our research team in Midtown Manhattan, walk us through how you use your phone and favourite apps in daily life, share examples of your everyday phone activity, and fill in a short questionnaire about your habits.

You should be a great fit if you’re an international student, someone new to NYC, or between jobs with a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- 18+ and currently living in NYC
- A native Dutch speaker who grew up in Belgium
- You use Dutch in everyday life: texting friends, email, notes
- You’ve used a smartphone as your main personal phone for 3+ years
- Comfortable communicating in English
- Not currently employed by a tech or AI company

- $100/hour, up to $2,400 for the full study
