Role OverviewPerforms supervisory assignments associated with operating the water/wastewater treatment plant and to ensure a continuous, adequate supply of potable drinking water meeting federal/state regulations for the citizens of Atlanta.
What You Will Do
Generates work orders, orders chemicals and supplies, coordinates with contractors, supervises and evaluates assigned staff, develops goals and expectations, handles employee concerns, directs work assignments, and completes employee performance appraisals.

Requires knowledge of wastewater treatment plant operation, machinery, and laboratory procedures, as well as skills in communication, problem-solving, and supervision.
Requirements
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- 5 years' of work experience in a wastewater plant or a related area
- Valid State of Georgia Drivers License
- Class I Water Distribution License
- Forklift Certification desirable
