E-Learning Developer

The E-Learning Developer will design and deliver engaging training using various training modalities, including mobile, online, video, and other broad reach vehicles. They will collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure effective collaboration on projects, analyze and synthesize feedback from stakeholders, and create computer-generated animations, graphics, and multimedia effects. The E-Learning Developer will also develop prototypes and pilot presentations using editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Frame.io, and After Effects.

What You Will Do

The E-Learning Developer will perform complex information technology project work, building, creating, and testing technical, online, asynchronous, and webinar, computer-based training courses, modules, and videos for new ITS software systems and existing ITS software systems. They will release and publish training videos to the DSS Agency, making them available as a desk-reference for future duties.

The E-Learning Developer will work closely with application development teams and HRA/DHS programs to identify and service training needs, and will have a high degree of latitude for independent action, judgment, and decisions. The E-Learning Developer will also have the opportunity to work with a variety of stakeholders, including business users and technical teams, to ensure effective collaboration on projects.

Requirements

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field
• Four years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
• An associate degree from an accredited college in computer science, engineering, human computer interaction, interactive media, digital and graphics design, data visualization, communication or a related field, and six years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
• Eight years of satisfactory full-time experience related to the area(s) required by the particular position and a specialization in a relevant technology, process, methodology and/or domain
