Role OverviewThe EAP Counselor will provide mental health counseling services to NYC employees and their families, develop materials for groups and workshops, and assist with the development and maintenance of EAP resources. The counselor will also provide consultation to supervisors and agency units on managing employees with performance issues.
What You Will Do
Provide services to clients, interface with insurance carriers and treatment providers, create and maintain confidential case records, and participate in clinical and administrative meetings.

Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to '1' or '2' above
- At least one year of experience as described in '1' above
