Role OverviewWe are hiring an Early Childhood Learning Teacher Assistant for our program at Taconic Hills Elementary School for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and helping them learn through play and positive experiences. The role involves facilitating hands-on activities, providing a safe and healthy environment, and acting as a positive role model for children in the program.

The responsibilities of this position include facilitating hands-on activities, observing state guidelines and program policies, supporting program operations, and providing a safe and healthy environment for children. The successful candidate will also be able to work well with teammates and communicate effectively with families.

Requirements
- 18 years or older and hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Preferably 1 year of experience working with kids under 13.
- Medically cleared of any communicable diseases including TB.
- Must be warm, friendly, and upbeat.
- Exceptional people skills, professional, reliable, and prompt.
- Physically able to bend, stretch, lift, carry (up to 50 lbs.), and do whatever it takes to keep up with the children.
