Role OverviewThe Early Childhood Paraprofessional will work closely with the classroom teacher to implement educational activities that meet the social, emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, and creative needs of individual students, and ensure that the children are well cared for and safe. This position will be an active member of the classroom, playing, interacting, and guiding the students. The paraprofessional will also be part of a rotating schedule for morning drop off and dismissal duty.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Early Childhood Paraprofessional will include being an active member of the classroom, playing, interacting, and guiding the students. The paraprofessional will also be responsible for discussing and supporting the behavior policies implemented by the classroom teacher, accompanying the class to and from special classes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the classroom and its equipment.

Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Two – three years’ experience working with young children
- Early Childhood degree/CDA, a plus
