Role OverviewThe Early Childhood Teacher Floater provides essential support to Early Childhood Teachers by assisting with classroom activities, maintaining a safe and engaging learning environment, and meeting the daily needs of children. This role is part of a grassroots, donor, and volunteer-fueled community nonprofit that serves families in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Polk, and Hernando counties.
What You Will Do
Assist in the supervision of school-age children during the assigned shift, provide support as a floater across all classrooms, assist Early Childhood Teachers in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate curriculum, and ensure the safety, security, and cleanliness of all CREATE classrooms and playground equipment.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 40 hours of DCF training in early childhood education
- 5 hours of literacy training
- Minimum of one year of experience working as an Early Childhood Teacher Assistant
