What You Will Do
Interacts with children, respects their interests, intervenes when needed to maintain safety, and enhances their play with language, toys and activities.

Demonstrates excellent communication skills, initiative, flexibility, and openness to new ideas in child care practices, and maintains 20 hours of in-service hours each fiscal year.
Requirements
- Age 19 years or older
- High School Diploma or equivalency certificate (GED)
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood or Child Development (strongly desired)
- Illinois Gateways to Opportunity Registry membership
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience in child care, early childhood, or child development
