Role OverviewThe Early Head Start Teacher facilitates safe and healthy learning activities for young children, 0-3 years of age. Play based learning promotes social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. The teacher plans individual and group activities according to child's age and current developmental levels under the guidelines of Creative Curriculum.
What You Will Do
The teacher's main day-to-day responsibilities include developing a plan to ensure the safety of the children, conducting daily health and safety checklists, and planning and conducting class activities that encourage healthy habits appropriate to child.

Requirements
- Associate Teacher - 12 Core Unit in Early Childhood Education
- valid Child Development Associate Teacher Permit or above within 6 months of hire
- At least two years' experience in a classroom or group setting with children
