Job Description
The Early Learning Specialist will support our Parent Child+ team by providing one-on-one home visits and modeling early learning activities to help parents prepare their children for school success.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or related field is preferred
  • Prior experience working with young children and families is preferred, particularly in areas such as home visiting, early education, or community-based programs
  • Strong interpersonal and motivational skills to build trusting relationships with families
  • Ability to work respectfully and effectively with families from diverse backgrounds and adapt to different home environments
  • English proficiency required; bilingual candidates (e.g., Spanish/Portuguese) strongly encouraged to apply!
  • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in an unsupervised environment (within households) with potential hazards such as pets, unknown individuals, and unfamiliar entryways with stairs and potential obstacles
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Computer literacy is preferred
  • A valid driver's license is required, along with daily access to a registered and insured vehicle during work hours
