Job Description
We are seeking an Early Preschool Teacher to join the New Horizon Academy team in North Olathe, KS! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children, interest in beginning or continuing their education in early childhood education or a related field, and meet state qualifications for the position.

Requirements

  • Meet state requirements for teacher qualification as defined by the Kansas Child Care Licensing Program.
  • Be able to work a full-time schedule, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30am-6:00pm.
  • Have positive work ethic, and a team-centered attitude.
  • Be willing to learn and grow as an educator.
  • Have previous childcare experience preferred.
  • Be able to pass an Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
  • Have documentation of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the U.S.
  • Have the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, as well as to understand state licensing regulations and company policies.
