Job Description
The ECE Assistant I, II, III position assists teachers in educating and caring for pre-school aged children, maintains classroom environments, and assists with implementation of play-oriented instructional activities. The role requires a strong understanding of early childhood development and the ability to work cooperatively with teachers, students, and parents.

Requirements

  • Completion of GED/High School diploma
  • CDA or equivalent in early childhood education
  • Experience working with preschool aged children
  • Pediatric First Aid and CPR Certificate
  • Health Clearance
  • TB Test
  • Food Handlers Card
  • Valid driver's license
  • Class C CDL with Passenger and Student Endorsement
  • Basic knowledge of early child development and instruction methods
  • Basic clerical and record keeping skills
  • Ability to use personal computers and equipment
